cover for "The City Water Project" by Karen GoatKeeper

Do you know where your water comes from? Do you know where it goes when you are done with it? What do you know about water?

This science activity book has lots of investigations (How big is a drop of water? How does water pressure work?) and activities (How much water is in different foods? Build a water rocket.) about water. Most of the materials used can be found in stores or around the house.

There are lots of pencil puzzles and trivia about water. The water stories cover where we get our water, how we use water, why water matters to our health and how we dispose of waste water.

The book is written for upper middle grades to beginning high school, but is adaptable for younger and older students.
